The Position
We are looking for a hands-on and solution-oriented Field Application Engineerto support our solar
water pumping projects in the field. This role goes beyond service handling, it combines technical
assessment, system design, installation supervision, product testing, and continuous improvement.
The Field Application Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring proper system implementation,
maintaining product performance, supporting customers technically, and improving installation
standards based on real field conditions.
This position requires strong technical capability, field readiness, and the ability to work directly with
customers and local communities.

• Verifying or/and conduct technical assessment for 4kW solar water pumping systems & above.
• Design customized solutions for new or existing customers, develop BOMs, and coordinate implementation of installation.
• Provide technical support and resolution for system issues reported by clients.
• Provide technical support for the clients with product issues.
• Implement the warranty claim policy and conduct product claims.
• Investigate difficult service cases to identify causes of failure.
• Conduct routine checkups on the replacement, return, and refurbishment units in designated WH.
• Conduct repairs when necessary or oversee repairs.
• Manage the daily installation inspection platform submissions.
• Make periodical field inspection over the client site.
• Improve the installation practice and product BOMs based on installation observations.
• Conduct new product testing activity.
• Product training: 2-3 monthly training sessions.
• Reporting: Monthly service & installation reports, field reports, and testing report, KPI reporting.
• Documentation: Documenting of tests & developments.
• Verify the service completion and customer satisfaction over the support Warranty case.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), with advantage for Civil Engineering background.
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of full-time working experience in field or technical implementation. 4+ years of working experience is preferred.
• Skills: Experience of solar PV or pumping systems is a huge plus! Direct experience with solar mounting systems is a strong advantage.
• Language: Native in Bahasa and strong in English.
• Mindset: Ready to travel to remote areas and work directly with local communities.
