Job Responsibilities

Green School Bali is looking for a practical, organised, and detail-focused Safeguarding & Compliance Officer.

This is a hands-on coordination role. The successful candidate will maintain safeguarding records, organise training, prepare audit evidence, conduct regular compliance checks, and consistently follow up with staff and departments to close outstanding actions.

The role works across the Compliance and Pastoral departments and liaises regularly with HR, HSE, Security, Facilities, Procurement, Green Camp, activity providers, and on-site vendors.

What You Will Do :

  • Audit and Monitoring & Evaluation (Monev) — 60% : Support the school's safeguarding and compliance programme by coordinating audits, maintaining evidence and documentation, conducting regular monitoring activities, and following up on action plans to ensure compliance standards are met.
  • Training Records and Coordination — 15% : Maintain the Central Training Register (CTR) and S ingle Central Record (SCR) in collaboration with HR to ensure accurate compliance records. You will also coordinate safeguarding training by organising sessions, preparing supporting materials, maintaining attendance records, and following up on training completion.
  • Administrative Support and Office Housekeeping — 25% : Provide administrative support to the Compliance Senior Manager and Head of Pastoral by maintaining organised records and documentation, ensuring well-maintained office spaces and resources, coordinating procurement requests through HashMicro, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the compliance and pastoral functions.
Job Requirements
  • Experience : At least 2 years of relevant experience in school administration, safeguarding, compliance, HR, legal administration, or a similar role, with experience coordinating training, audits, or cross-functional initiatives. Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation is essential, while experience in a school or child-focused organisation and safeguarding training are an advantage.
  • Local Expertise : Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Education, HR, Management, or another relevant field.
  • Technical Skills : Strong technical skills in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office, with the ability to manage digital records, prepare reports and presentations, and maintain accurate documentation with a high level of attention to detail. Experience with HashMicro or similar procurement or budget systems is an advantage.
  • Personal Attributes : Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, follow up proactively, and work independently. Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, discretion, and a strong commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding, and child protection.
